Sexual and reproductive rights 30 years on
Throughout 2025, a cycle of conferences and screenings is being organized to mark the 30th anniversary of the Cairo International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD, 1994) and the Beijing World Conference on Women (1995), two major events for the recognition of sexual and reproductive rights.
This latest conference, entitled “Reproductive justice”, will be held in English.
The conference will be moderated by HeiniVäisänen (Ined) and Céline Miani (Universität Bielefeld).
It will be followed by a screening of Therese Shechter's film “My So-called Selfish Life” in room 0.010 (building "recherche Nord") from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The subject of the film is childfree.
